stack traces

The problem is, I've experienced severe difficulties debugging balsa  
with gdb. The balsa threads mess gdb up, often leaving balsa hanging  
and gdb asking for permission to dump core. Now, I could disable  
threads, but as some other people on the list have noticed, quite a few  
of the problems just dissappear when threading is disabled. So most of  
the stack traces I've managed to produce are ones where I attach to an  
already hung balsa process.

Hmm, I wonder if running with --disable-crash-dialog will give core  
files straight up?
