unnecessary, if balsa would only save the state when the view of a 
mailbox actually changes. Would be a good opportunity to start using 
gconf in a first step?
This case also looks like the most critical one to me, because you 
shouldn't need to wait any time to close a program, otherwise you might 
just get used to killing it. ;o)
