ispell or lack of it

G'day all,

Just downloaded and installed 1.4.1, everything seems OK.

I have never managed to get the spell check to work.
It always comes up with a message box stating...

I'm sorry I can't find any suitable word lists for the language-tag 
"en".

What does this mean?

You need only two tools.        o /////
