It would also helpful if that dialog box allowed copy&paste :-)

I'v just made another attempt at sending a message with a Bcc: to 
th.maeder@freesurf.ch. This is what the dialog box says:

Reading /home/maeder/mail/outbox
Sorting mailbox...
 From maeder@glue.ch:250 Ok
To maeder@glue.ch:250 Ok
250 Ok: queued as <some id>
Writing /home/maeder/mail/outbox...
Sorting mailbox...
0 kept, 1 deleted.

The From, To and 250 lines are terminated by a dotted square (which 
probably represents carriage return).
