balsa 1.2.1 -- hangs after couple of hours or so!

Folks!

I have balsa 1.2.1 running on RedHat 7.1, and there are two weired
things I noticed so far.

a) After a couple of hours -- since I fire off balsa, it hangs and the
    only way to shut it off and restart -- is to kill the balsa daemon
    and then restart.

b) It's been failing to delete -- the deleted messages from the IMAP 
server.
    Every time, it craches and then I restart, it shows me all my deleted
    messages in my "Inbox".

Any idea -- what's the fix for it is?
