IMAP plain text authentication

Hi,

I'm trying to use balsa1.2.0 with an imap server set up for plain text 
authentication. It persists in showing an error (CRAM-MD% authentication 
failed) and does not allow me to access the mailbox. Is there anything I 
can do about it?
