Nothing! But many people are stuck having to use Outlook, and therefore 
Windows because their sysadmins think that using anything other than 
Microsoft is a sin.
Even though they have the freedom to choose their desktop OS, it's a 
company requirement to access Exchange Server for group interworking. So 
they're stuck on Windows until there's a Linux mail client able to access 
IMAP.

Thousands of people in teh US alone would switch to Linux if they could use 
it and still meet that stupid requirement.

Oh, yes, the said sysadmins simply refuse to turn on IMAP support, they 
just say: "Use Outlook, it works"!
