More bugs will linger in earlier glibc versions. Some IPv6 functions and
macros suffer from missing const declarations also (e. g. in 2.1.3, some
IN6_* macros lack them). GNU libc is a piece of crap -- apart from
bloating everything ad nauseam -- in this respect, and that's probably
where your ICONV also comes from.
