Praise for Balsa

I must say, since the last time I checked out Balsa, the client has
evolved nicely. (I just tried whatever version made it into Potato) I
still won't be using Balsa as IMAP support still seems...cumbersome. 

Some support for PGP/GnuPG in the future would also be a welcome
addition.

And on a more technical note, what is libmutt that I see mentioned?
Where can I grab it to look at and toy with?
