Re: Theme of the GNOME.Asia 2013

I must ask my question again.  Are there enough embedded projects that use GNOME to fill an entire conference? If this is our theme then most if not all topics should play to it.

I myself have a raspberry pi but I don't run GNOME on it.

While we should certainly take presentation topics about embedded development I remain unconvinced that we should use it as the central theme of the Summit.

Thanks, Will - in my view it's really just terminology so while I wouldn't
say it's *not* an open source conference, the GNOME Foundation would very
much prefer to use the term free software or software freedom instead -
from our perspective the most important points are about freedom,
afterall!
