I am not able to attend the IRC meeting, I suggest add one topic to tonite agenda:
Some ideas about the training session.
Currently
I invite two people from China to give training. One is Wylmer Wang,
who will gave training about L10, translation. Another is Bin Li, he
propose to give a train session about GNOME Shell.
Training
session is important to us, it will bring students to our summit.
We invest a lot on the training session, for example, the certification
signed by Karen, laptop as prize and designing posters in universities.
In order to make sure the training session successful, I suggest we should add
more topics for training.
Considering the audience are
mostly Korean students. It would be better if we can invite some local
speakers to give training session. I suggest below topics might be
interested by local students:
1. How to drive Bugzilla?
2. 10 minutes to write a GNOME Shell Plugin
3. Tips to use GNOME 3
4. How to make a patch
5. Other more...
You
can think about more topics for GNOME newbie. Local team can even talk
with local students to find what interests them most.
The most important of all, we need to find some local Korean speakers who are willing to give a training.
Simon and all local team, we need your help on this.
1. Design Certification (Done)
