Dear all, We are opening our registration early next week. Akhil and myself will be responsible for this action item. Since we will need a payment system, Akhil did some research and recommended to use DoAttend service (which is also used in FOSS.IN and KDE conf). It also support local currency. You may find more info from the attached email and pdf. We also checked other service e.g. paypal however it seems paypal is having some issues in India. And it doesn't support local currency. In response to your queries: 1. Payouts are made to the event organizer on a monthly basis. Online payments against registrations are collected on your behalf and transferred monthly to the specified bank account, net of doattend transaction charges. 2. Yes, various exports are available to you within the interface at any time you require. These include summary details on completed orders (total sales, etc) and complete attendee details, as provided on the registration form. 3. There are no charges for free/complimentary registrations. For speakers, you could consider using the guest invite feature since these speakers do not fall under your paid attendee count. 4. DoAttend is a web-based service and offered as a SaaS product. The flexibility to create an event page in line with your needs, define your preferred ticketing options, etc is all within your control. For more information on the key features that doattend has to offer, along with our pricing structure, please refer to the enclosed overview document. If you need any further clarifications, please feel free to get in touch with us. We look forward to the opportunity of powering registrations to Gnome.Asia 2011.
