Sorry for my late reply. Eventhough we haven't got the official reply
from the GNOME Board, most of our GNOME.Asia committee members already
voted for your proposal from COSCUP. We are very sure that the board
will approve and we will work together this year :) Please pass this
good news to your team!
In order to save time, we are in the middle of calling for sponsors and
get prepared to develop the website. Would you please send us your
proposal in read and write format like ODT?
Besides, we would like to start to have a weekly IRC meeting together
with you and any other contact person from COSCUP starting from next
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. The weekly meeting will be on every Tuesday. The
time will be 14: 00 UTC. I will let you know the IRC channel as soon as
possible.
The agenda for the first meeting would be :
1) Introduce core team and its responsibilities from each side
2) Talk about the shared tag-line (Theme of the co-event)
3) Discuss about website development and registration system
4) Share information about sponsorship
5) Share information about speakers
6) Discuss about budgeting
7) Answer any question from COSCUP :) or anything COSCUP may want to
discuss
