I will work with coscup team to arrange your talk on Aug 15 afternoon. The
slot is 1 hour, (45 min speech + 15 Q&A).
My usual speech is lasts two hours. Cutting it in half is possible,
but lots of important points would be left out. It seems like an
unfortunate thing to do.
I am not located in Taiwan. I also need to figure out the hotel by myself.
Having talked about this issue with the local coscup organizer team, they
only provide lodging for volunteers and staff, no lodging for speaker,
That is a problem. It probably means I can't go.
I can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars on this.
Yesterday I asked Jeanne to ask my previous contacts in Taiwan if any
of them wants me to give a speech. If one of them wants a speech,
maybe he can provide lodging for me. That would make my trip
possible, and I could also do the speech for you.
Whether the 14th or 15th would be better, I do not know yet.
It depends on the flight schedule info, which is waiting
for me to get some info from the people an event in Beijing
(which is why I will be there).
