Here is a proposed revision of www.gnome.asia
which addresses the problems I reported in it.
This page is also one place that should have the image
with the many Asian translations of "free" as in freedom.

How about putting the words "GNOME.Asia 2010" plus the GNOME
logo on a background made up of those words, repeated?

<p>For this third edition of the <strong> GNOME.Asia Summit </strong>,
Asia's principal event about the free-as-in-freedom desktop
GNOME, we're delighted to partner with COSCUP (Conference for Open Source Coders, Users and Promoters).  The joint event will be held on August 14th and 15th at the International Conference Hall, Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, Academia Sinica in Taipei (Taiwan).</p>

<p>With a tagline of <strong> &ldquo;Open Web, Freedom, and Mobile Technologies&rdquo; </strong>, it emphasizes the exciting development in these areas as well as the GNOME desktop environment, and leverages the world-leading hardware industry in Taiwan. We are expecting a minimum of 700 participants composed mainly of an Asian and Taiwanese focused on free-software technology as well as international experts. Right now the joint conference of COSCUP / GNOME.Asia 2010 is calling for papers, if you are interested to join us, please feel free to browse the "register" page and participate the event!</p>

<h2>About GNOME.Asia Summit</h2>
<p>GNOME.Asia Summit is an annual conference for GNOME users and developers in Asia. The event focuses primarily on the free-software GNOME desktop and other devices that use GNOME, and also covers GNOME-based applications and GNOME development platform tools. It brings together the GNOME community in Asia to provide a forum for users, developers, foundation leaders, governments and businesses to discuss both the present technologies and future developments. GNOME.Asia Summit has been held in Beijing, China in 2008 and Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam in 2009.</p>
