Hi All, I would like to get feedback from every committee member about "simultaneous interpretation". From your opinion, do you think simultaneous interpretation is necessary? Currently, the venue in BUAA support simultaneous interpretation which means they can provide the devices for simultaneous interpretation. The cost for simultaneous interpretation is Devices: 6000 * 2 days = 12000RMB Fee for interpretors : One person one day : 10000RMB So we have three options: 1. No simultaneous interpretation 2. Only provide simultaneous interpretation for general session (Two mornings) Cost = Devices (12000RMB)+ Two people, two half days (20000RMB) = 32000RMB 3. Provide simultaneous interpretation in the main conference room for two whole days. Cost = Devices (12000RMB)+ Two people, two days (40000RMB) = 52000RMB Please give your option and reason for it.
