I wonder whether "Update wizard" isn't such a bad idea. This way when
the user goes to a page which their own artwork is on, they would see
some additional options that are not available to normal users. These
could include Edit, Update, Delete(?) and others.

Yes, does sound good, as long as it doesn't get too complicated!
