Indeed, 3.18.2 shows the same problem...


That's strange. This has been reported here:
  https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=756426
and Yannick has provided a fix committed in 3.18.2.

Here, I don't get any of these issues but I'm using mostly Scintilla.
