I think that code commenting feature is Scintilla related; as regard the
disappearing of Scintilla editor from Anjuta, i filed a bug report
(#506298) to the Debian bug tracking system and I have also provided a
solution but nothing happened.

If you wish to have Scintilla back again (together with Glade-3
integration) you have to rebuild from Debian sources the .deb packages
by yourself enabling the plugin by adding the following line:

DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS += --enable-plugin-scintilla

into the "rules" file; it isn't a painfull task even if you have never
done it before.
