[Anjuta-list] missing ./intl

I'm a new Ubuntu Linux user and have installed Anjuta. Unfortunately
when i create a project using the wizard i get the following error near
the top of the listing:-

makefile.am:6:required directory./intl does not exist

And at the end of the list i get:-

config.status:error:cannot find input file: intl/makefile.in


Please help as i'm new to Linux and i'm a bit concerned about messing
around with it without much idea.
