There is a related issue about saving the GDL layout, for visible 
windows, it is this bug 
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=569160) Do you plan to look 
at this, too? If no, perhaps I can look at this myself between the 
documentation and project manager improvements.
