Hello mentor, mailing-list, I have just submitted the Vala class wizard for class-gen in form of a patch submitted to this bug on Bugzilla [1] [1] https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637774 It features the following concepts of Vala: - Class inheritance (not interface inheritance) - Adding properties (with getters/setters) - Adding methods - Adding signals Also it was mentioned in the Vala documentation on GNOME that it is highly recommended to subclass GLib.Object by default. So I added a checkbox for that. I haven't added support for Vala namespaces, because I don't see it as necessary, but I am open to hear counter-arguments. If there's anything you miss, please tell me. I wanted to catch up the time I have missed in the previous task, so the moment you committed the JavaScript wizard, I will claim the Vala class wizard task on the GCI task tracker. My competitors don't sleep. I hope you have time to mark the tasks as complete before Christmas, as we all might be very busy then doing other things, maybe. Well, but I have to clarify also that in first line I choose tasks I think I like would do - and maybe because I plan to be a GNOME contributer afterwards, too, a little - and related to GNOME. :) Kenny -- Encouraging respectful discussion with OpenRespect (http://www.openrespect.org)
