Often I've good luck with:

ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/mirrors/ftp.gnome.org/sources/

That's what I'm usually doing, too. You can try the spec files coming
with my test builds resp. source RPMs:

    ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/ke/SRPM/

If wanted I can also build RPMs for SuSE Linux 8.0; at the moment, on
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/ke only 8.1 and 8.2 is up-to-date. Just
drop me a line.
