[xslt] XML pages are not rendering in IE 5.5

I have a problem with IE 5.5
no XML pages are not rendering, all that is showing is the XML tree.
the pages work, because on other systems, it renders ok
I tried to re-install IE 5.5, no luck.
What could cause this problem? is there a fix?
