Hi!
For testing I have been installing the following libxml libraries:
- libxml2-2.7.8
- libxml2-2.8.0
- libxml2-2.9.0
First thing libxml2-2.9.0 is not available, I just ade an rc0 snapshot
it's not a supported release :-)
I see, thanks.
I downloaded via ftp://xmlsoft.org/libxml2/LATEST_LIBXML2 and thought that was the latest stable version
(I saw there was a ftp://xmlsoft.org/libxml2/LATEST_LIBXML2_IS_2.9.0-rc0 as well, but the md5 on both are the
same.
I guess the wording: LATEST_LIBXML2_IS_2.9.0-rc0 shows that 2.9.0 is a RC and not a stable, but it was not
entirely clear).
So LATEST_LIBXML2 is always just the latest release, not necessarily the latest _stable_ release?
The attached patch fixes your problem,
Thank you very much! :-)

Richard Taubo
