I was referring to building libxml2-2.7.7 and zlib-1.2.4 from source together, it happens to be on SuSE
9.2. I believe I've found an issue in the test suit on ia64 and I'm asking how to troubleshoot it further
in order to help get it patched.
Well I may have misunderstood your report. build with debug and
running the crashing test under gdb to find where it crashes and
then try to sort out the problem would be a very first step
toward a fix.
