Re: [xml] libxml2 on OpenVMS 8

Maybe you can create a shared library in C (compile with -G option), and then you can call this function from cobol. Remember to append "\0" (low value) to the strings in cobol, or you will have memory problems

Hi all,

Iâm facing some trouble with the use of libxml2 with COBOL on OpenVMS v8. We want to process some XML calls (SOA) from Cobol, but Iâd need some clues.

Iâve compiled libxml on OpenVMS with apparent success, but I donât know how to use them with my COBOL program.

Many thanks in advance,

Txus Lopez.
