Hi all;
 A belated thanks to Daniel and Rob Richards for jumping
in so quickly and fixing the xml:id problem I reported a couple of
months ago -- much more quickly than I could undo my workarounds,
upgrade and retest ----
  It works!!!

and your efforts _are_ appreciated!
