Hi,

I have a xml property page which has something as below:
<regexp>^[û]{1,20}$</regexp>

But I get "myproperty.xml:8132: error: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate
encoding !"

Your data content and encoding don't match, it's a fatal error.
Indicate an encoding as the message said. Any decent XML book should have
a section on this.

If your company can't change this, this also probably mean that they
have no other interest in open-source than free support, let's say it's
a relatively insulting message to ask for basic help on the list with
such an appendix to the mail. This sounds very much like you're loking for
some modern slavery getting informations from us but not allowing us
