Are there any sort functions in libxml2? I want to sort the record 
according to category.  Thank you.
        It's a guess, I've never tried it but It should my first
try if I needed to sort something :)
	Since libxml2 provides xmlStrcmp, You can try sorting your record with 
libc's qsort.
        Another approach maybe using XSLT's <xsl:sort> element.
