[xml] processing PI in libxml

hello gnomes,

can someone please give some hints on how do I replace PIs in the parsed
document tree (xmlDoc) with some xml nodes I want.
In other words, I have an xml as a result of xsl transformation, that has
some processing instructions in it, which I want to process further and
replace them with xml.
