Adding a nextCatalog entry with xmlcatalog (tired with 2.5.3 and 2.5.4) is working fine (with a third empty argument), but I cannot delete it afterwards:
# xmlcatalog --noout --add "nextCatalog" "test" "" /etc/xml/catalog # cat /etc/xml/catalog <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE catalog PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD Entity Resolution XML Catalog # V1.0//EN" "http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/entity/release/1.0/catalog.dtd";> <catalog xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:entity:xmlns:xml:catalog"> <nextCatalog catalog="test"/> </catalog> # xmlcatalog --noout --del "nextCatalog" "test" "" /etc/xml/catalog Failed to remove entry nextCatalog
