That's the idea, indeed.

Those who have voiced in agree on diff1.patch.
That one can be committed, unless Igor,
whose advice on the matter was not clear-cut,
has something to add.

About diff2.patch, there has'nt been any real disscussion,
because nobody has encountered the issue yet.
I suggest it in order to make
LIBXML_STATIC_FOR_DLL "feature-complete".
