If you upgrade to libxml2-2.5.8-1 the dependancy for libxml2-python-2.5.4
which is that libxml2-2.5.4 is installed is not satisfied anymore. Hence
rpm refuses to run the transaction because this would result in a state
where all rules are not satisfied.
Perhaps it would help others to have instructions on using rpm posted on
http://www.xmlsoft.org/downloads.html and included in INSTALL. Just two lines
like
rpm -U libxml2-xxx.rpm libxml2-devel-xxx.rpm libxml2-python-xxx.rpm
rpm -U libxslt-xxx.rpm libxslt-devel-xxx.rpm libxslt-python-xxx.rpm
Hum, the point is that you don't have to install libxml2-python. So
this is needed only if libxml2-python is installed and you want to upgrade
one of the other packages,
Daniel
