Greetings,
I don't know why IEEE 754 floating point arithmetic is important for
libxml2, but trionan.c throws this error when compiled on Tru64 UNIX
5.1 running gcc-3.0.3:
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I. -I../include -I./include
-I/sw/common/include -g -O2 -Wall -c ../xpath.c
rm -f .libs/xpath.lo
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I. -I../include -I./include -I/sw/common/include -g -O2 -Wall -c ../xpath.c
-DPIC -o .libs/xpath.lo
In file included from ../xpath.c:89:
../trionan.c:105:4: #error "Must be compiled with option -mieee"
I guess it's easy enough to add -mieee to CFLAGS when building on this
platform, but couldn't it be configure's job somehow?
Thanks,
David
