Hi Daniel,
Hum, those patches touches some of the hardest part of the parser,
sorry for the delay but it took me a bit of time before being able to
forcus on this.
I will try to redo all changes from a fresh parser.c and keep running the
tests. Can you please make a snapshot tarball available? I'm under the
impression, that ftp://xmlsoft.org doesn't work.
Rebuilt, I fixed the batch which wasn't working:
-rw-r--r-- 1 veillard www 4546990 Jun 7 03:47 cvs-snapshot.tar.gz
I also had to restart the ftp daemon, the exact same area is however
always available as ftp://rpmfind.net/pub/libxml (same machine, same drive,
and if rpmfind.net goes down I'm usually getting feedback really fast !)
My greatest fear is, that we have some source in DTD handling, that
gives undefined behaviour. Using the Watcom compiler, some sample
files parsed with "xmllint --valid" crash if debugging compiler options
are disabled (even before my patch).
Hum, I would have to rerun some of my debugging tools.
Was that introduced recently ? Do you have this on the default sources
or just in your version ?
Daniel
P.S.: I'm taking a long weeek-end so I may not be abble to work this out before
Monday, but who knows ...
