Folks -

The traffic to www.xmlsoft.org
(http://xmlsoft.org/logs/usage_200204.html#TOPURLS) and the Google
refer strings in the web log suggest people are looking for concise
howto documentation to get them started using libxml.

I'd like to put together some more tutorial examples to try to meet
this need, and want some feedback from y'all about the sort of
concrete examples needed to get bootstrapped.

The idea here is to create simple stand-alone programs that compile
and perform one narrow task, exercising a minimal set of
functions. What are some of the things you needed to get bootstrapped
using libxml?
