Okay, this was actually coming from xsltDebug() (and hence it's actaully
not libxml2 related but libxslt related) which was reached because the
template recursion depth went too deep. I fixed it by:
- fixing xsltDebug() to use the standard error reporting API
- increasing xsltMaxDepth to 5000
