Would it be possible to create a symbolic link to the latest and greatest
versions of libxml2 and libxslt on the download pages, such as found on
ftp://ftp.xmlsoft.org ?
I'm currently writing some documentation for some Perl scripts that require
libxml2 and libxslt to be available: I would like to refer to a generic URL
in the documentation rather than to a specific version, i.e. in the current
state:
libxml2-latest.i386.rpm -> libxml2-2.4.12-1.i386.rpm
libxml2-latest.src.rpm -> libxml2-2.4.12-1.src.rpm
libxml2-latest.tar.gz -> libxml2-2.4.12.tar.gz
libxslt-latest.i386.rpm -> libxslt-1.0.9-1.i386.rpm
libxslt-latest.src.rpm -> libxslt-1.0.9-1.src.rpm
libxslt-latest.tar.gz -> libxslt-1.0.9.tar.gz
Would that be possible? Or are there reasons for not having this?
