 - Code cleanup using extreme gcc compiler warning options, found and
   cleared half a dozen potential problemthe Eazel team found an XML
   parser bug
 - cleaned up the user of some of the string formatting function. used
   the trio library code to provide the one needed when the platform is
   missing them
 - xpath: removed a memory leak and fixed the predicate evaluation
   problem, extended the testsuite and cleaned up the result. XPointer
   seems broken ...
