The window type _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DOCK is used to inform the wm that it 
might want to 
treat the window differently because it is a dock. Docking itself is out 
of the scope of the EWMH. There
is a separate protocol proposed for it, see 
http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/systemtray.html
