Well, I can imagine that it would have generated more feedback if it was developed
in the open. Most (of the few) Vala developers have strong roots in open source and
– although not as comfortable as ValaDevelop – there are „alternatives" out there which
are completely open.

That said, Wolfgang, if you no longer want to work on it, why not free it at last and upload
the source?
