Hi, I went through the same experience, checking all available IDEs.
Although I my preferred one would be eclipse I finally started to like
Anjuta (3.1.91) as it provides the integration of most of the libraries
you can think of (provided they are installed on your system) and a
painless integration of autotools. Perhaps a bit OT, but maybe it
helps...
