Hello, I have some strange error when I try to install VTE 0.5.0 :

checking for VSC... no
vsc library dependencies not met:
    vala-1.0 >= 0.5.7: not found
configure: error: vsc library dependencies not met: glib-2.0 >= 2.12.0
gio-2.0 >= 2.12.0 gobject-2.0 >= 2.12.0 gthread-2.0 >= 2.16.0 vala-1.0 >=
0.5.7

I use ubuntu 9.04, maybe you know whats wrong?
