[Vala] Object properties question

Hello.

I have just started learning vala couple of days ago with main purpose
of making my life when developing new widgets for GTK+ less painfull.

Everything so far worked nicely, but I noticed that when installing
properties on object, I'm not able to limit them to a specific
interval like I'm able to do when using C directly. All properties are
installed with maximum range allowed by the property type.

Is there a way to alter this from vala code?

BTW, current behavior poses no real problem for me, I'm just being curious.
