Re: [Vala] The name `Gee' does not exist

Gee is not installed with valac and so you have to copy the

I asked about this some time ago, but can't for the life of me find
the mail in the archive. The best thing to do is to get libgee from
svn and do a proper install independently from the vala install.
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-announce-list/2007-July/msg00058.html
might help by the look of it.

vala comes with its own private copy of libgee, so copying the
gee-1.0.vapi file is actually sufficient. The Fedora packages have
been rebuilt with this change:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/packages/vala/0.1.5/

(they will be available in the updates repository in a few days' time)

Do let me know if this fixes the problem, and if you have a Fedora
account, vote the build up on
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F8/pending/vala-0.1.5-5.fc8

Thanks,
