The final decision would rest with Calum Benson and those who work most on
the HIG but the proposal all sounds very reasonable and beneficial.  I
would add that anyone interested in the Human Interface Guidelines would
benefit greatly from also reading the Style and Accessibility Guidelines -
I know I have - so it seems good to have these all in the one place.
