Cross-platform the Cancel button is the right most button of the

different for a platform in this case.
If this behavior doesn't suit MacOS X (or GNOME), how is it cross-platform?
Cross-platform always means you have to make compromises between
following platform related issues to the point or keep the work load
within reasonable limits. In the case of the Cancel button it not worth
to follow the MacOSX (or Gnome) guidelines since they are simply wrong
from the usability point of view. Besides MacOSX has such an low market
share and on Linux (or Gnome) you usually run Gnome-, KDE-, wxWidgets-,
FLTK-, etc-applications, all with different guidelines, not to speak of
all the application which don't follow any guidelines. Therefore if you
develop cross-platform applications your best choice is to follow my advice.
Referencing your own webpage doesn't make a very convincing case.
I've no problem with that. Do you?
