How about

[ ] <ICON> Evolution
                    The Evolution Groupware Suite

This would maintain a simple use model, improve the aesthetics, and add 
some useful information for users who don't know what "Evolution" is, 
but they know what "Groupware" (ok, bad generic name) is and the know 
what the little mail icon means.
