Everything is possible I guess. But it doesn't stop the sad feeling
you get when you realise, after three years of using Gnome, that your
Gnome experience could have been significantly better had one little
Gconf key been set by default. :/
Could someone please provide me with links to the previous discussions
about this issue? I couldn't find it in the archives. Also this
threads headcount is 4/5 that likes $HOME == Desktop, so maybe people
aren't as divided on the issue anymore?
